Brief Answer:
apply silverex gel or cream.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

You should clean the burnt area with sterile water, pouring for 2 to 3 minutes.

In case the burnt wound is very painful, then you may use normal saline (500 ml bottles) available at medical stores for cleaning the wounds twice daily.

After cleaning the burnt wound, you can apply silverex 0.2% gel or cream which is also available in any pharmacy and it is a very good antibiotic cream compared to burnol especially in burns wounds.

Do not break blisters which are likely to happen after hot tea or water burn.

If burnt area is small then there is no need of oral antibiotics, however you can give combiflam syrup 1 TSF twice daily for symptomatic relief from pain if there.

The burnt wound usually gets healed within 5 to 7 days so there is no need to worry.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have more doubts to clear.

Brief Answer:
Continue with silverex and oral small course antibiotic will also be useful

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have seen the pictures you attached.

From the pictures,we can see some yellowish area which are actually raw area and not healthy. Also the burnt wound is not so small especially for a 2 year old child.

Here, cleaning part is very important and I can see some raw area in the picture. So first you clean the wound with sterile water or using normal saline properly as suggested earlier and then clean again with then apply antiseptic silverex cream.

If you are NOT able to clean it properly (since she is a child and may be uncooperative) then better to see some local surgical hospital where they would do proper dressing of the wound.

Also,I will be in favor of giving oral antibiotic for a small course (like syrup zifi for 2 or 3 days) and for that you will need to see some doctor.

Regular antiseptic application with proper cleaning will hasten the healing process but still it may take up to 5 to 7 days at least.

There is no need to apply any other cream or ointment since silverex is itself is sufficient.

Hope this helps and let me know if you need more help.
