Question : My ear is blocked since friday after i had cold and cough. I am feeling very irritated,I have tried methods to unblock it by pluggin in my nose and releasing pressure but of no work.
When I lie down looking up then it opens up but when i stand up again it gets blocked . please help

Nasal or throat infection can cause eustachian tube blockage leading to middle ear infection or fullness of the ears.
Take tablet levocetrizine plus psuedophedrine twice daily and xylometazoline nasal drops three times a day for a week.
Take steam inhalation and chew a gum that will help to decongest the tube and relieve the symptoms.
All the medicine prescribed by me will be available only on prescription.
