Question : I am having extreme burping from flagyl and took some gas tables, now I have stomach pain. How can I stop the burping, and prevent it, and what caused the stomach pain ?

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Flagyl can cause burping or nausea. It also can cause dysbacteriosis and there by abdominal discomfort and pain. Taking probiotics like sacharomyces boulardi or taking kefir ,yogurt and banana is good for this. You can also take proton pump inhibitors with domperidone like Pan D 4-5 days to avoid burping or nausea caused by Flagyl.
