Question: I have had a sore throat since the middle of march. No fever. Not strep or mono. Glands not swollen but are sore. Worse in the evening. Better in morning.

Hello. Do warm water saline gargles with added salt 2-3 times a day. Take tablet levocetirizine. Take paracetamol if fever and pain. Avoid cold drinks. Avoid outing in cold. Drink hot veg soups. Take liquids more. Hot milk with honey will also help.Take cough syrup with lemon and honey. You can also add garlic or ginger or black pepper. Consult your doctor for antibiotics. Take care...

Pain mostly left side. No runny nose. Sometimes feel lightheaded. Some post nasal drip. Clear but thick mucus. Doesnt taste good Pain in throat when tilting head down. Docs cant seem to figure it out. .
