Question: 6 week old baby...no bowel movement in 4 days...

Hello. I just read through your question.
I agree with your diagnosis. To help the baby, you can offer prune juice. This will help get the system going. 1 ounce every 4-6 hours is usually enough. Of this doesn't work after 24 hours, you can use 1/2 of a Pediatric glycerin suppository.

we also think that his formula (she is also breast feeding) has caused harsh diaper rash...he is changed regularly...we have tried two different ointments and corn starch...
