Question: My son is 4 month old. He has got loose motions. Please advise good medicine or drops to control.

A baby can pass 5 to 6 stools per day or may pass stool once in 5 days, this is a normal thing unless child has some problem.
In loose stools, we have to look for dehydration, so you should feed child more regularly.
In my opinion, you should give
- syrup cefixime (5 ml =50 mg) 2 ml three times a day for 3 days
- Enterogermina ampule once a day for 3 days
Feed child more frequently.
