Brief Answer:
Not a marked elevation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Your AST liver enzyme is slightly elevated. This is not a worrisome level, it's just mildly elevated. I have seen liver enzymes in the triple digits.

Common things that can cause elevated liver enzymes are being overweight, alcohol intake, and some medications (including acetaminophen - Tylenol). Elevated liver enzymes means that their is some inflammation of the liver tissue.

It usually takes 4-6 weeks for liver enzymes to go down after whatever was elevating it has resolved.

So, no, your level is not worrisome, but I recommend talking with your doctor to discuss what might be causing the elevation in your particular case, and rechecking in 6 weeks.

I hope this information helps.

Brief Answer:
Yes, ALT also.

Detailed Answer:
Yes, the ALT is just marginally elevated. Different labs have different ranges for ALT, but usually for females the range is 7 - 35.
