Brief Answer:
Hello. There is a cure if it's an H pylori stomach infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello. She needs to be screened for an H pylori bacterial stomach infection since, if that's positive, it can be cured with a course of two different antibiotics.

If it's a GERD problem, medications like Nexium or Prilosec can relieve the symptoms, although they won't actually cure the condition.

Brief Answer:
Hello. She needs a stool test for the H pylori

Detailed Answer:
H pylori can better be identified with a stool test. I would also consider putting her on a medication called sucralfate
