Question: I am experiencing extreme fatigue. I wake up in the morning just fine, good energy etc. About 10 am I start yawning and often take a nap by 11.

Such fatigue is seen in people with diabetes. Considering your age I suggest get your blood sugar levels done. If already done let me know what is your fasting blood sugar level.

Also get blood pressure testes. Blood pressure can be tested to know if there has been any variation.

Blood sugar levels tested at the same time as thyroid. Results normal.

Already take medication for high blood pressure.

Thanks for information.

There are 2 possibilities for this illness :

1) Variation in blood pressure through the day is one of important reasons for fatigue. You need to undergo 6th hourly monitoring of blood pressure for2 days to know if your blood pressure is varying when you wake up and 11 am when you are tired and sleepy.

2) Your blood pressure medication can be adjusted accordingly.

3)Another possibility is Viral illness. If you are feeling fatigue since short time ( a week), this could be due to viral illness which is temporary and gets corrected soon.
