Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and approach to your query requires knowledge of the following:
A. Constipation: have you any of the below said causes:
. Diet: low fibre and high protein diet?
. Addiction: tobacco chewing,alcohol?
. Drugs: antihypertensive, antacids,iron, calcium or pain killers?
. Laxative abuse
. Hormonal disorder: hypothyroidism , diabetes or any other
. Lifestyle: sedentary or active?
Do revert back with your concerns till then incorporate following in your daily regime
Take: old brown rice,green gram,chick pea, green vegetables,papaya,carrot,radish, cucumber,cabbage,bottle gourd, more fluids, regular walking and abdominal exercises, XXXXXXX grapes,musk melon,raisins,dates, pears,orange,guava,honey,apricot,milk, butter milk.
Avoid: newly harvested rice, black gram, peas,banana,potato,spices,fast food,late nights,suppression of urges,sedentary lifestyle.
B. Scalp and dandruff

2. Thyroid function test (TFT),Lipid profile and Hemoglobin level?

i. Avoid applying excess oil to hair.
ii. Avoid high extremes of temperature such as used in hair straightening devices.
iii. Avoid hard water on hair and after bath make sure you avoid vigorous toweling of hair, let them dry naturally.
iv. Make less choice for synthetic hair oils, hair coloring, bleaching, styling and use of dry blowers.
v. Avoid dust, use scarf or cap while travelling and avoid excessive exposure to sun, heat, wind, dust, anger, stress, anxiety,
vi.Avoid oily, fried, spicy, hot, fermented and stale food, drink plenty of water (maintain hydration)
vii. Proteins are essential for antibodies production so milk, egg (white), beans, yogurt, soymilk, pumpkin, squash, watermelon,peanuts,almonds, if non-vegetarian (meat) are choices
viii. XXXXXXX carrots, cantaloupe, egg yolk, apricots, pumpkin, papaya, are ideal
ix. Vitamin C: is needed for proper functioning of immune system: amla is good option.
x. Vitamin E: is a powerful anti oxidant thus peanuts, dried apricots, cooked spinach taro root can be taken
xi. Soap nut (reetha) and shikakai along with Bhringraj and Neelini oil acts as natural conditioner and XXXXXXX you can use it safely.
xii. Vitamin B1 and B2, Omega-6 and Zinc, magnesium, biotin are very effective in treating dandruff so make sure they are a part of regular vitamin intake, apple cider vinegar, Olive Oil or Coconut Oil, raw aloe vera juice can be applied directly to scalp.
