Suggest Remedies For Headache And Runny Nose

Question: I have had a headache, just on the right side for over four months. No pain relievers make the pain go away. I also wake every morning with a runny nose. Any ideas?

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Unilateral headache at this age should be evaluated for temporal arteritis.
Any history of migraine headache?
Any vomiting, sensitivity to light or sound?
Any tearing from eyes?
Duration of headache?
Any ear discharge?
Any previous such episodes?
Any history of loss of vision?
Another possibility may be cluster headache with tearing and nasal stuffiness. But age is usually young.
Is there any brain imaging done?
Take amitryptiline initially and pain killers like Naproxen or mefanemic acid.
Visit to a neurologist will be helpful as examination can be done.
