Brief Answer:
Palpiations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for query.

Yes the feeling your are having is called palpitation. You may notice heart palpitations in your chest, throat, or neck. They usually aren't serious or harmful, though, and often go away on their own. Most of the time, they're caused by stress and anxiety, or because you've had too much caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol but in some cases there is direct cardiac involvement.

Few basic tests are required initially to rule out the nature of palpitations in your case.

Tests suggested are-
24 hour holter monitoring-A small machine would be attached to your body for 24 hours to record your heart beats.

2D echo- Mobility of your heart and its pumping action would be checked by this investigation.

Once we know the nature of skipped beats treatment would be started.

Thanks!
