Question : whilst eating food I accidentally bite my lower lip.it is painful and leaves a raw area.

As saliva contains immunoglobulins and growing factors, wounds in the mouth and lip wounds heal pretty fast and usually without any medication. So the best you can do is to wait and see. It should get healed in few days.
If not, consult your dentist.
