Question : Dear Doctor

My Friends wife is suffering from low AMH level. As a result they do not have an issue. Can this AMH level be improved by drug or any specific food in the diet? They are vegetarian.

Hi,

I understand your concerns about AMH.

AMH ( anti mullerian hormone) is an indicator of low ovarian reserve.

This reduces with reduced ovarian reserve and also aging.

Unfortunately this cannot be improved as it goes on decreasing with age.

Let me know how much is her AMH and details of her last IVF cycle. How many oocytes obtained and how many embryos formed.
