Question: I have mild copd.My doctor prescribed taking mucenix twice a day as well as inhalers.I have found that I have very little sputim or plaphlam I take two mucenix and one mucinecxdm. Is this harmful?

Mucinex can be used every 4-6 hours if needed (4 to 6 times a day) and mucinex dm every 12 hours (twice daily).
If you are using 2 mucinex and 1 mucinex dm then you would still be in the allowed dosage region.
You would only need to make sure that they are spaced enough.
If you are using the 2 mucinex at one instant, then the mucinex dm should be given 4 to 6 hours after that time.
