Try imiquad 5% cream if you want to avoid electrocautery
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you once again for writing to us
I am Dr. Kakkar MD, skin and STD) and I have answered your previous query too regarding the same concern.
There is no doubt that these are genital warts/ condyloma acuminatum.
There are various methods that are used to treat genital warts:
-Surgical: Electrocautery, Radifrequency cautery, CO 2 Laser.
-Medical: Topical podowart (podophyllin resin), topical imiquad 5% cream, chemical cauterization (50-100% TCA application), topical 5-flurouracil cream.
Surgical options are the most preferred specially if there are only a few lesions like yours. It gets rid of the warts, then and there and your skin returns back to normal in a week.
Podowart (podophylin resin) is an alternative option if you want to avoid electrocautery. It is applied by the doctor at his office. This is not for home application.
Alternatively, your doctor may also choose to prescribe imiquad 5% cream, however imiquad cream may need to be used for at least 12- 16 weeks for the warts to regress.
TCA (trichloroacetic acid) is also a physician applied treatment for warts.
Topical 5 FU cream can also be used. It can cause irritation though and it does take longer i.e a weeks.
Out of all these options, electrocautery or radiofrquency cautery, really are the best and most preferred ones.

Hpv testing can reveal Hpv types
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Although the diagnosis is clinically obvious you may still take a test for HPV typing to know the types of virus. Most of the genital warts are caused by HPV types 6, 11 which are 'low risk hpv types' i.e they do not case cancer. 'High risk Hpv types' i.e 16, 18, 31, 33 and 45 are associated with increased risk of penile cancer, specially in those with persistent infection. Therefore testing for HPV types would reveal whether you have infection with 'low risk Hpv types' or 'high risk Hpv types'
