Have you sustained any trauma to your chest?

Is the pain in the front of the chest ribs?

Any pain on taking a deep breath?

Rib pain could be due to simple inflammation or due to trauma.

This can cause pain on taking deep breath especially after trauma.

Usually rib conditions are managed conservatively with medication and heal satisfactorily.

Take Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 5 days before meals. Do not lie on the painful side.
