Suggest Remedies For Persistent Cough With Phlegm And Sinus Allergy
Question: Hi Doctor
I have a cough for the last 3 weeks. Earlier it was very bad but now it has reduced significantly though not completely cured. It is not dry cough and is accompanied with phlegm.
I have a sinus allergy which is why I get a blocked nose and sneezing quite often. I have never had a long term cough though.
What do you think could be the reason?

From your description it feels like bronchitis and I also think that your cough will soon go away. Now the cause of bronchitis may be an infection or allergy in your case.
Still I would like to know if you have done a complete blood count, chest x-ray and sputum culture and sensitivity. If not, please get it done and upload the reports. Only then I will be better able to help.
Meanwhile take cleaner water to drink and saline gargles in XXXXXXX warm water.
