Suggest Remedies For Persistent Fever And Cold

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I am sorry your are not feeling well. There are a lot of viral upper respiratory infections happening here in the US and I imagine in XXXXXXX as well.
The most common reason for your symptoms would be an upper respiratory virus.
Assuming your fever is not extremely high, for aches and pains with this, you can use either paracetamol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. With either of these, do not drink alcohol, and if taking ibuprofen, take it after you have some food in your stomach so that it does not irritate.
For nasal congestion, you can use a decongestant such as pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine. Phenylephrine is less likely to keep you awake.
You can also use a saline nasal spray (NOT a decongestant nasal spray as they can have rebound) or a nettipot with saline irrigation.
Drink lots of hot tea and soups.
Some people find, at the beginning of getting a cold, that increasing their intake of Vitamin C and Zinc is helpful for them.
If your nasal congestion becomes quite bad and persistent, consider a nasal corticosteroid spray such as fluticasone (Flonase). Do not use it within an hour or two of the salt water sprays or irrigation, or the Flonase will just get washed out and go down to your stomach.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information you may be wanting. Hope you feel better soon!
