Suggest Remedies For Persistent Knee Pain

Could be Osteoarthritis of knee. Needs lifestyle modification , exercise
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
It's possible that your mother could be having Osteoarthritis of the knee where the knee bones are rubbing against one another causing the problem.
To reduce the pain she must must focus on weight loss by aerobic exercises and stationary cycle if she is obese, if any deformity of the knees visible she can wear a knee brace, can take Tablet Paracetamol 1g twice a day, apply hot packs to the painful region twice a day, avoid squatting, cross leg sitting, climbing stairs and kneeling. Physiotherapy for quadriceps strengthening will help as well.
Do get an Xray of the knee and upload for my opinion if possible. I will comment if any other measures need to be taken and further course of treatment.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
