Suggest Remedies For Pigmentation Marks On Nose

Question: Hi Doctor,

Since last few days I have developed some patches on my nose.I only recollect there was a blackhead which I had tempered with.Attaching the pics.
Kindly help with a cause & solution.

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). i have gone through your query and i have reviewed the image.

You definitely have developed pigmentation over nose.

I suggest you to use a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day. At night you may use a tretinoin 0.025% cream (Retin A 0.025%cream) over the affected area.

Thanks for your prompt response.As of now I would want to avoid using chemical based creams.Can you please suggest me something which can be applied to the pigmented area and doesnt have any side effects?

You may use a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream (Flutivate cream), twice daily.
