Suggest Remedies For Pimples Under The Chin

Question: I have 2 questions.
1. Mostly in the evening, but sometimes during the day, I feel like small pin prick of hot or eclectic type-like when we were kids and we held the sparkler to close to our skin and the embers would hit . It feels like it is coming from inside my skin. I scratch, even though it really does not itch, and it feels better , until I stop scratching then it feels worse. I also looks like small bumps or whelps are under my skin sometimes, but they never actually pop up. It happens on every part of my body except my face and head. This has been going on for a couple of months.
FYI- it is not Shyngles.

2. This morning I have actually broken out into small bumps or whelps under my chin .
2.

Brief Answer:
Please upload a picture.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

It is difficult for skin lesions to be diagnosed correctly only by description, it is necessary to upload a picture of these lesions, better to be evaluated by a Dermatologyst who can diagnose your condition by using a dermatoscope.

Awaiting for the picture and for the second question......

FYI-
There are no skin lesions.
There is nothing to take a picture of.
I thought it might be symptom of something else BUT it is not shingles.

As I said:

It also looks like small bumps or whelps are under my skin sometimes, but they never actually pop up, then I take Benadryl and after about an hour or so it eases off and then all goes away. It happens on every part of my body except my face and head. This has been going on for a couple of months.

Brief Answer:
Paresthesias and allergic reaction to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Since there are no skin lesions, paresthesias ( abnormal skin sensations ) should be taken in consideration.

Conditions that may cause such issues include peripheral neuropathy, diseases of spinal cord and peripheral nerves, alcohol withdrawal (if any), drugs/medications side effects (if any), low vitamin B12 and psychological issues.

Since Benadryl improves your symptoms, an allergic reaction also should be considered.

Skin tests about possible allergic panel should be performed to evaluate properly this possibility.

In order for confirmation or exclusion of conditions mentioned above, it is necessary to get evaluated by your primary care Doctor, please discuss about all these.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.

Thank you,

FYI
- no alcohol-withdrawal
- no drugs legal or illegal
- no medications of any kind
- no pchyc problems
- nothing new in my environment or intake since before or after this happened
- no new pets, deodorants, laundry detergent or anything else
-+ I think the Benadryl works because it just puts me to sleep

Brief Answer:
Neurologist's evaluation is necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

In such case, conditions to consider include peripheral neuropathy ( diabetes, low vitaminB 12, viral infection, etc.), spinal cord diseases such compression of posterior part of the cord at cervical levels etc.

Getting evaluated and examined by a Neurologist is necessary to understand your condition better.

Hope this helps.

Greetings.
