Posted on Fri, 27 May 2016
Question: I have pollen allergies since this is the season in the country. One day in the afternoon i worked the yard where I had to cut some branches and clear up the yard. Later in evening I noticed some swelling on the forehead and to the right of my forehead and on my upper lips. The bumps have not gone away since then and it is bothering me a lot. Its been four days, I thought they were temporary, but they are still there.

Brief Answer:
Take combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the image you have attached.
In my opinion, you should stop the cortisone.
You should take combination of antihistamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast) drugs.
Combination is easily available in market.
You should also take broad spectrum antibiotic like levofloxacin or azithromycin because infection can also cause similar bumps.
Please let me know
1. Do you have pain in bumps?
2. Do you have Itching on forehead?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you are mostly having infection.
Injury with Branches of tree are prone to cause infection when rub against skin.
So better to take broad spectrum antibiotic like levofloxacin or Augmentin to resolve infection.
Also start combination of antihistamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast) to cover allergy.
