Question : I have been using Aquaphor and tattoo balm on a new tattoo and have broken out in a rash around the tattoo. What can I use to get rid of the rash but also keep the tattoo moist?

I am dr.kakkar(dermstologist). I have gone through your query and i have reviewed the images.

You seem to have a dermatitis probably due to allergy to tattoo ink.

You may use a topical steroid cream e.g either triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream Or mometasone furoate 0.1% cream twice daily for a few days.
