Question : I missed a shot of meth in my right arm. In the middle of the inside of my elbow. I drew back blood and it didn't burn until the very end so I wasn't aware that I was missing. And even then the burn was very faint. But when I pulled the needle out it hurt like crazy and the entire area turned red and got really warm. It still hurts. My whole arm from my shoulder to my fingertips just aches and it's like a throbbing but numb at the same time from my shoulder to my fingertips. But more so from my elbow to my fingertips. What do I do?

                                    Brief Answer:
The symptoms described by you are suggestive of skin infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Injecting meth can lead to infection at site of injection.
The symptoms mentioned by you - burning sensation, redness and heat felt are indicative of skin infection.
I suggest you to stop the injection of meth at the said site and consult a physician for clinical assessment.
In case there is infection at the site of injection, it needs to be treated accordingly (antibiotics as a mainstay of treatment).
Feel free to get back in case of any further queries
Thanks and take care
