Question : I have a red eye and my doctor gave me montelukast and Zyrtec to take what else can I do to get rid of this red eye cold water or warm water on my eye?

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
You have been given anti allergy treatment and i am presuming that Zytrec is being taken orally and only once a day.This looks like a proper treatment and cold compresses will be helpful.
You ca3use Visine eye drops 3 times a day to take care of redness.Cases who do not respond well to this treatment, we tend to use steroid dropsunder observationfor short pdroid.
You will respond well to a addition of Visine,do get back to. me in case of any further query in this regard
