Question : Hello,
I am suffering from acne from last one month.everyday 1-2 new acne is comingout.I am using cetaphil cleansing lotion and saslic face wash to wash my face and then applying adaferin 1%.But it is not stopping the new acne appearance and also leaving deep scars on my face.please help me, if I need to take any oral medicine then suggest the name and dose.

If you are having acne inspite of using topical medicines I would recommend you to go for oral medication as well.
I would recommend you to upload the pictures of your face so that I can grade your acne and can guide you accordingly.

I have reviewed the attached photograph.
In such cases I recommend my patients to take tablet azithromycin 500 mg one tablet daily for 3 consecutive days in a week for 6 weeks.
This will help in resolving your acne but treatment needs to be continued for atleast 3-4 months.
You need to continue with saslic facewash, cetaphil cleansing lotion and adaferin gel.

Can I take azithral 500mg?because I am not finding any medicine named azithromycin,I think it is a composition. Please clear my doubt.one more query,I will take 1 tablet for 3 days in a week for 6 weeks,then I should give any break or will continue like this for 3-4 months?thanks in advance
