Question : hello,

I have acne problems for many years , but it getting worse now and majorly on chin , jaw and neck. Can you please suggest what could have caused it.
Also, I went to London for 3 months and there this problem started and now when I'm back in XXXXXXX it still continues. please suggest.

I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
Acne is a very common disease in youngsters usually associated with hormonal changes as well as seborrhoea.
Its occurence in the jaw, neck and chin is usually seen in persons with hormonal imbalance or due to the use of cosmetics.
Which medicines have you used for acne?
Kindly upload the photographs of the affected areas so that I can grade the severity of your acne and can guide you accordingly.
