I appreciate your concern regarding to your daughter problem.
If the thyroid function is confirmed to be within the normal ranges than the thyroid is not the cause of the hair loss.
What is important to differentiate in these cases is the type of hair loss. Is that diffuse or are there boldy zones? The last one can be treated with corticosteroids because may be with autoimmune origin. Often anemia can cause hair loss and should be excluded.
I would recommend to see a dermatologist and he can decide than what will be the proper treatment for that kind of hair problem.
