Question : HI. Me and my girlfriend got poison ivy or oak down in the genital area. I knew what it was and started treatment immediately but my girlfriend wanted to go to the OBGYN and is waiting to hear back about the tests. I told the doctor what it was but she dismissed me and my girlfriend has been getting worse by the day. She is hurting really bad and finally said she will listen to me. What Can you recommend for inside the vigina and around the outside?

For temporary relief she can use vagisil anti itch cream and 1% hydrocortisone jelly. Do try to keep the area clean and dry. Use cotton undergarments only and avoid having sex till she gets a complete relief.
