Question: Hi. I started having flu-like symptoms on Wednesday, and yesterday I began to also have severe joint pain. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hello! I have been through your question.

Related your concern I think you shouldn't worry because the joint pain is one of flu-like symptoms.
Furthermore if these symptoms last more than 4-5 days and you get fever as well, I suggest to meet an Infectious Diseases Specialist in order to exclude some complications.

During this time you should use acetaminophen or ibuprofen for these flu -like symptoms.
