Question : i have had and contune to have a charliehorse like pain in the center of my left thigh, it started on Thursday, it only herts when I am sitting, should i wait to see if it goes away or get it looked at

Hello and thank you for your question. XXXXXXX horses or cramps can cause ongoing pain for a week or so after a severe episode. I suggest you try these things for a few days and if the pain does not go away then see a doctor.

Use warm compresses on the sore area or soak in a tub of warm water several times a day.

After the warm soaks or compresses, do some gentle stretching of the muscle. You can find some great quadricep (thigh muscle) stretches here:

Take a multivitamin/multimineral once a day

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day.

If your pain persists after trying these things then see your doctor for an exam
