Brief Answer:
Plantar fascitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxx,
Thanks for posting your query,

I have read through your query and from the description that you have provided, you seem to have symptoms pertaining to Plantar fascitis.

This arises due to the wear and tear of the plantar fascia which supports the arch. It is most commonly seen in middle age group, but is also seen in those who are on their feet for long periods of time.

Classic features include pain over the heel area especially in the morning, which may also worsen later in the day.

I would suggest you to do the following:
- give ample time of rest to the feet. Avoid long time standing, take breaks in between.

- wear good fitting shoes which good arch support and cushion soles

- you may consider the use of ibuprofen for pain relief.

- soak your feet in warm saline water for 20-30 mins twice daily

- apply ice over the area when it pains

I would also recommend you to consult with an orthopedist in case your pain doesn't subside, he may be able to provide you with steroid injections and splints if necessary.

Hope this helps
