Question : Dear Doctor myself XXXX age 34 I had oily food then immediately I drank cold water due to which after 3 days my throat started paining and now I am suffering from cold my nose is blocked I am sneezing and not able to sleep please advise medicine

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and would like to tell you that you are suffering from cold virus which takes 4-7 days to be all right completely.
What to do....
Take an anti allergic medicine like FEXOFENADINE 180 mg once a day.
Put saline nasal drops 2-3 times a day.
Do steam inhalation and warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day.
Take paracetamol as and when required if having headache or bodyache or fever.
Avoid cold drinks and smoking.
Consume more of hot liquids.
You should be all right soon.
