Question : i have sore throat with pain in the throat and below the chin. I have flowing nose and a bit of body pain as well. Medical store gave me COFQ & Eryocin 250 thrice a day for three days. Is this a correct medicine?

Hi Barnali ,
Thanks for the query.

I have read your query , reviewed your medications and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
Upper respiratory track infection (URTI) .

This medication are correct if your URTI is not resistance to Eryocin .

In my opinion , since you already started COFQ & Eryocin , i would advice continue this medication thrice daily for 7 days (instead of twice daily) .

Use antiseptic mouth wash like betadin / chlorhexidine twice daily .

You will get relief .
