Question : my mothers thumb is swollen. plz tell what medicine has to be given.attahed is d pic.c is already taking med n ointment for d same.

Your mother has developed onychomycosis , a fungal infection of nails.
I treat such cases with strong antifungal tablet like itraconazole and a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole.
It gives a good response within a week.
