Question : I developed a vaginal yeast infection as a result of using Metronidazole for a Diverticulitis siege. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? Just FYI it has abated mostly since I finished the drug.
I also developed a terrible taste in my mouth from the same drug. I finished the protocol Sunday, but my mouth still has a terrible taste.
Will these issues go away over time?

Brief Answer:
Yes, would go with time

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Yes, Metronidazole has a truly horrid taste.
The taste will go away in a couple of days.
The yeast infection should also subside.
However, you can help by taking probiotics, and using vaginal clotrimazole suppositories.
All the best.
