Brief Answer:
Do not worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Every child has variable requirement for sleep. Most babies sleep for 10-16 hours during this period (5 weeks). If your baby is not sleeping for at least 10 hours then there seems to be some discomfort associated usually. The most likely reasons for poor sleep are:
- inadequate feeds or overfeeding. To overcome this, ensure on demand and exclusive breastfeeding.
- overheating or excess covering
- inadequate burping leading to abdominal distension and pain. Ensure proper burping in between and after feeds to help him.
- tight cloths and elastics
- damp diapers or rashes

Try to avoid above reasons if present. You may use mild rocking, cuddling, soft music and lullabies to help in sound sleep.

Hopefully it will be of help.

Brief Answer:
Avoid woodwards and use bonnisan drops

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Many babies puke up feeds at this age due to mild gastro esophageal reflux. It's perfectly fine and improves without any treatment over a period of few months. Avoid irregular feeds and sucking for inducing sleep as it will create sleep problems for your baby later on. Try to make him sleep in his own cot instead of bed sharing. This will help in correcting the habit and will also help in your sore nipples. Ensure proper latching while feeding. Also, you may use Nipcare lotion to help in cracked nipples.

Bonnisan drops will be useful for him. Woodwords is not the same and is not useful for the condition.

Take care
