Brief Answer:
Possible enteritis. Need an ultrasound.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

As per your symptoms, an ultrasound abdomen is mandatory in your case to rule out Major organ infection and peritonitis.

Meanwhile empirical antibiotics can help to get over the infection.

I generally prescribe my patients with oral pills of ORNI O for 5 days. This will help to get over the infection.

Update me with test results.

Further management if any is based on test results.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Hi Doctor,

Thank you for your response. Today I consulted another doctor who suggested an ultrasound. Based on the results he says that there is some fluid around my testicles which is causing the pain. He has prescribed me Oxerute CD tablet for 7 days.

Please let me know what is your opinion.

Thanks.

Hi Doctor,

Today I had another ultrasound. Below is the extract from my scrotum doppler test:

" R/T B Mode, colour and pulsed doppler imaging of the scrotum was performed. The pamipiniform plexus on both sides are studied with and without valsalva manoeuvere. Right testis measures 2.1 x 3.0 x 3.6cm. Left testis measures 2.0 x 3.0 x 3.7cm. Right epididymis measures 8.8mm. Left epididymis measures 7mm. Both testis show uniform echotexture. Both epididymis show normal echotexture. The venous plexus in both scrotal sacs are not dilated and there is no evidence of reflux during valsalva manoeuvere. Bilateral mild hydrocele seen. IMPRESSION: - Bilateral mild hydrocele. --------------- "

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I apologize for the delayed response owing to my work schedule.

I have worked through your attached reports as well.

This scrotal ultrasound rules out infection as the cause of your pain abdomen.

Mild bilateral hydrocele can be finding in many.In the absence of infection In the scrotum, mild hydrocele has to be carefully followed every 6 months to detect primary hydrocele.

You specifically require ultrasound abdomen (or more accurately CT abdomen)to rule out the presence of gall stones, kidney stones or peritonitis.

Further management if any is based on test results.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
