Brief Answer:
Yeah, that is a symptom of anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query. Welcome to HCM.

Burning in the chest and chest pain are the common symptoms of the anxiety. Burning can also be due to gastritis that is also common in persons taking alcohol frequently.

If you had alcohol withdrawal than I feel you might have undergone for proper treatment for withdrawal. Continuing clonidine for this much long is not advisable, it is not even used in alcohol withdrawal. It can decrease your anxiety symptoms. There is no role of seroquel in alcohol withdrawal, it must be given for some other reason. Usual treatment of alcohol withdrawal is complete abstinence from alcohol and judicious use of benzodiazepines to prevent serious withdrawal reactions.

If you have severe anxiety symptoms then take klonopin 0.25 mg twice a day for few days and take pantoprazole for few days. This will help you. Visit your doctor for further information and drug prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have further questions then feel free to ask. Wishing you good health. Remain abstinent from alcohol.
