Brief Answer:
Obesity/anemia/chest injury to rule out.....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Generally, shortness of breath can be caused by problems related to :
- heart
- lungs
- ENT
- chest trauma
- allergies
- obesity
- anemia

In your case, you have run many tests, can you please provide a copy of the results so I can analyze myself?

Echocardiogram is also recommended to evaluate further your heart size and function. A doppler ultrasound of blood vessels (like aorta or carotids) is advised for further evaluation.

Respiratory function test is advised to check respiration problems.

ENT examination is needed to rule out ent malformations.

As you suffer of diabetes, I need to know about your weight. Being obese/overweight can be possible cause to breathing problems.

I need to evaluate your blood tests results regarding anemia as it could be also a possible cause.

I need to know :
- when you get the episodes of breathing difficulties?
- is there any particular reason that can lead to it (fumes? meds? foods?)
- does physical activity aggravate the breathing problems?

Thank you!
Dr.Albana
