Question : I have a burning sensation in the groan area that started yesterday. No redness or swelling. It is like the burn when you put tiger balm on a sensitive area.

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to this site!
I have noted your details and think that this is possibly due to a heightened response of your skin to the ingredients of balm.

Under present conditions, you are likely to benefit from the following measures:

1 To avoid using the balm again

2 Cool compresses to the area every four to six hourly

3 Keep the part well ventilated

4 Use Mupirocin containing ointment three times a day to prevent infection.

5 Have anti allergics like Levocetirizine

It is likely to take some days before the reaction subsides significantly.

I hope this helps you recover fast.

Best wishes from us!
