Suggest Remedy For Chest Congestion And Excessive Crying In A Child Post Vaccination
Question: Hi I delivered a baby 3 months ago last week we have 14th week vaccination after that he continuously crying even though his temperature is normal and his throat is congested can you say some quick remedy

I completely understand your concerns but don't worry. Continuous cry after 14 weeks vaccination is most likely due to pain and anxiety. Give him acetaminophen or ibuprofen syrup at recommended dose. Repeat it after 6-8 hours if required. Apply ice over the injection site in a soothing manner to relieve local inflammation.
Also, sooth him by gentle cuddling, rocking, music and talking to him.

In case he continues to cry for more than 3 hours in spite of above management, immediately contact your pediatrician. It can be rare adverse reaction to the vaccine.

My baby vomitted considerable amount after feeding it looks like semi belly like foremilk mixed with saliva he had a long sleep for 7 hours without feed den he had a feed n vomitted is that normal whether it is vomit or split up

Many a times due to gastric reflux, babies may vomit. It occurs also due to aerophegia while feeding. I would recommend you to give him domstal drops for vomiting. Also, burp him properly after each feed for 3-4 minutes and keep him in head end up position thereafter while lying.
Give him regular feeds. Do not wait for more than 4-5 hours interval.
