Question : my son just had teeth surgery on Thursday which all his teeth was extracted. He is on antiobiotics for 7 days but now he is complaining about that chest/heart throbbing.

As far as the heart burn or throbbing is concerned, it is secondary to the antibiotics which has resulted in gastritis. Nothing to be panic, you can take a course of antacids like ranitidine for 3-5days. If the problem does not solve after this medication then consult a general physician and get it evaluated. Do not consume spicy food. Drink lot of water.

just a question that just came to be he is a smoker but hasn't had one since surgery, he has to wait 5 days. I thought maybe a lot of stress that he is going through also
