Brief Answer:
Temporary antianxiety benzo medicines, Psychotherapy will be helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

I can understand your situation.

Anxiety disorder can be treated with pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy.

In pharmacotherapy SSRI(like daxid) and Benzodiazepines(clonazepam, etizolam, lorazepam) are quite useful. Short term course of low dose benzo would give great relief immediately.

As you have improved with daxid, its dose should be increased. Maximum dose can be given upto 200mg.

In psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and CBT would be helpful.
CBT(cognitive behaviour therapy) even can cure your anxiety disorder permanently.

Just relax and visit psychiatrist again. Discuss above aspect, take prescription and discuss for psychotherapy. Your psychiatrist may do psychotherapy on his own or can refer you to someone else.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Wish you early stability and regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
