Brief Answer:
Happy thanksgiving!! Here are a few suggestions :)

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Firstly, happy thanksgiving to you and your entire extended family.

I completely understand how busy thanksgiving can be so for now I shall list a few home remedies that may help in at least suppressing your pain, they are:

+Whenever you are free apply ice to the region for 15 minutes or so 3-4 times a day
+Avoid sitting on hard surfaces
+Avoid sitting for long durations
+High fiber diet to prevent constipation and also prevent sitting on the toilet seat for long
+Place a cushion below your bottom when you wish to sit down (e.g. donut cushion)
+When seated lean forwards to avoid putting more weight on the tailbone
+Use an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) to help relieve the pain at least partially (e.g. ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.)
+Visit your doctor once the holidays are over

I wish you loads of luck and a rapid recovery. Please feel free to write to me anytime through the holidays or even later if you have any trouble, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
