I completely understand how busy thanksgiving can be so for now I shall list a few home remedies that may help in at least suppressing your pain, they are:

+Whenever you are free apply ice to the region for 15 minutes or so 3-4 times a day
+Avoid sitting on hard surfaces
+Avoid sitting for long durations
+High fiber diet to prevent constipation and also prevent sitting on the toilet seat for long
+Place a cushion below your bottom when you wish to sit down (e.g. donut cushion)
+When seated lean forwards to avoid putting more weight on the tailbone
+Use an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) to help relieve the pain at least partially (e.g. ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.)
+Visit your doctor once the holidays are over
