Question : My girl friend has been taking birth control for a few months. Last month we had unprotected sex. On the day her peiod was expected she experience cramping but no blood. The next morning she woke up to brown discharge and small amounts of blood. This was consistent for 2 days but was light. After those two days she experienced nothing. No cramping, bleeding, all of her symtoms have disappeared and none have surficed. She takes her pill within a few hours of the same time each day. But last month she had missed a day. We are very concerned and scared. Please help

I read your query and I understand your concerns about possibility of pregnancy.

I can read that she was on pills and also she had bleeding during periods.

I don't see any chance of pregnancy. There is absolutely nothing to worry. What she had was a regular periods with reduced bleeding.

So there is absolutely no chance of pregnancy though she had missed her periods for a day.
