                                    Brief Answer:
PRL level needed
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I carefully read your question and understand your convern.
Menstrual cycle irregularities has many causes. As a neurosurgeon I should recommend you a PRL level, which is a blood test measuring the prolactin level in the blood. This hormone is one of the main causes, especially when the menstrual cycle stops. Once you rule out this eventuality you can focus on the reproductive system tests.
If there is an increase in PRL, then you should consider a cerebral MRI.
Please talk to your GP or gynecologist about this and let me know.
Wish you the best health.
