Question : I have fibromyalgia-what supplements would you suggest for me to take. Also, I have major depression & I am in a really bad place right now & need to change from Prestiq to another antidepresant-any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
Mirtazapine (Remeron) is the option

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. You have tried many of the medicines.

Remaing option is Mirtazapine (Remeron). It is good antidepressant and can be used in fibromyalgia. Simultaneously pregabalin or flupirtine maleate can be used for pain symptoms.

No supplements would probably help except vitamin D and Vitamin B12. You can take both of them after evaluation of serum level of them.

You can discuss these options with your treating doctor and change the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
