Question : Good afternoon. I'm a 66 year old XXXXXXX man, and have been with my now husband for 20 years.
18 months ago I had a haemorroid op which proved very successful. But since then, as I am the passive one in our marriage, penetration has been out of the question, as my faeces seem to always be just inside my rectum, therefore making me embarrassed to even allow my husband to go near me that way.
Is there a procedure I could have to rectify this. Thanks.

Brief Ans-Procedures to rectify the Anal Incontinence

Hi,Welcome for your query to HCM.
I read your query in full depth and reviewed it in context of your health concerns post hemorrhoid operation.
I would just least few for your knowledge.Your Surgeon would be the best judge to decide and plan a procedure amongst these-

Conservative Procedures
Injection Procedure to augment the function of the internal anal sphincter-like
Injection of the Silicone in inter-sphincteric space. and internal anal sphincter gives good results, and could be tried in your case, which increases the continence of the internal sphincter.
For Minor feacal incontenence-you could try submucosal injection of the carbon-coated microbeads

Standard Surgical Procedure -Anterior Anal Sphincteroplasty, where the lax and scarred portion of the external sphinter is plicated to give a better postoperative squeeze pressure as judged by endoanal USG studies.

Hope this would help you to plan exact treatment with help of your doctor.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Brief Answer:
NonSurgical Inj treatments and Surgical treats for Feacal Incontinence

Detailed Answer:
Breif Ans-NonSurgical Inj treatments and Surgical treats for Feacal Incontinence

Hi,thanks for the query update.
I am trying to reply in laymans words as much as possible. But if still you find it difficult to understand,I would suggest you to take help of your doctor to understand it,as there is a limitation to explain to a Lay man as it has many variables at his knowledge levels.
Based on the facts of your query My simplified answer is as follows-

Post hemorrhoid surgery, it seems that you have feacal incontenance ,which is a health concern and an impediment in your sex pleasure.
Besides this, ano-genital sex trauma over 20 yrs, leads to laxity of anal sphincters from overuse and from scar tissue, formed in anal sphincters, which make the anal squeezing power WEAK.Tight anal sphincter usually keeps the lower anus empty normally.
So to correct this anal sphincter weakness-

1-Non-Surgical options, which you can use is-Silicone Injections in the anal sphincters, which would increase the strength of the weak anal sphincters in your case.
2-Surgical or Operative treatment option you can use is -Sphinctor tightening operation-Called-Anterior Sphincteroplasty-where the weak and scarred and lax anal sphincter would be Tightened by Plicating sutures to reduce the laxity of the weak anal sphincter.

Hope this simplified reply would help you to plan further OPTIONAL treatment as you desired, in this query.
Welcome for any further query in this regard, which I would love to attend in next session.

IF you are satisfied with this reply,Will appreciate YOU, to write excellent service feedback comments,to help the needy patients like you at HCM services.
